Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse specializing in the Night shift at a full-service maternity unit. This role involves providing care in a Level II Nursery and managing both labor and postpartum patients in a combined room environment. The position requires a skilled RN capable of handling the complexities of maternal and neonatal care in a fast-paced, acute care setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 3-12 hour shifts per week, every other weekend (EOW) may be required, totaling at least 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with both mother and baby care, including nursery and postpartum management; competent in circulating C-Sections; familiar with Meditech charting system
• Additional Information: All nurses are cross-trained for Labor and Delivery, Couplets Care, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and circulating C-Sections. Emphasis on having experience and comfort in both mother and neonatal care environments. Unit includes a 10-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) suite with Level II Nursery and one Operating Suite. Approximately 50-65 deliveries are handled monthly. Scrub colors standardized as hospital-provided OR green, with a changing locker room.
