Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position located in Clyde, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care to adult cardiac and post-cardiac catheterization patients within a 22-bed unit. The nurse will support patients with various cardiac diagnoses, ensuring optimal recovery and stability.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts (12 hours), minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two (2) years of experience in a step-down or intensive care unit (ICU), current certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry equipment, adult patient population, and cardiac trauma or procedures.
• Additional Information: This assignment involves providing care to adult patients with cardiac conditions, post-cardiac cath lab recovery, and cardioversion procedures. The unit emphasizes team-oriented collaboration with excellent communication skills and flexibility. The candidate must wear navy scrubs and adhere to professional dress code policies.
