Job Summary:
Pediatric Psychology (PEDS PSYCH) located in Colorado Springs. This position involves providing psychiatric nursing care within a pediatric behavioral health setting. The role requires flexibility in shift hours and may include floating to different areas based on census needs. The assignment duration is approximately 13 weeks, starting from October 20, 2026.

Job Details:

• Position Title: RN - Pediatric Psychiatric Traveler
• Location: Colorado Springs
• Unit: Childrens Hospital Colorado Psych Ed
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; shifts may vary or include evening and overnight hours based on needs.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 10/20/2026
• End Date: 01/09/2027
• Travel Required: Yes
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with personnel potentially reassigned within their clinical competence and within thirty-five (35) miles of the original assignment facility.
• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience in behavioral health (or 4 years if without a bachelor's degree)
  • At least 1 year pediatric behavioral health experience
  • Current BLS certification
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Emergency Department pediatric experience
  • Pediatric inpatient or psychiatric experience
  • Emergency department experience
• Additional Information:
  • Safety Care certification is required and will be provided if not already held.
  • RTO (Leave/Time Off) is not permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
  • Seasonal Influenza vaccine is required; exemptions for medical or religious reasons are accepted.
