Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Psychology (PEDS PSYCH) position based at a healthcare organization. This inpatient psychiatric nursing role involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients on an assignment lasting approximately 12 weeks. The position requires a dedicated RN prepared to work day shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active registered nurse (RN) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with at least six (6) months validity, a minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Psychiatric and Pediatric experience, and location requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience highly preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required; personnel may be assigned to other units such as inpatient psychiatric unit, neonatal stabilization center, and emergency department within thirty-five (35) miles of the original assignment location, based on clinical competence.
- Additional Information: There are no requested times off approved within the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted.
