Job Summary:
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a healthcare facility providing specialized critical care to patients with life-threatening illnesses or injuries. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care through collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, documentation, and patient education, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; minimum of 0 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN); professional certification in critical care nursing (e.g., CCRN).
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for assessing patients' physical, psychological, and social needs, formulating and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. The role involves documentation of all care activities, responding to patient changes, and participating in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives. May require lifting up to 75 pounds and using standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
