Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse in a facility located within a healthcare organization. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend rotation, including two holidays during the winter season. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in a similar setting, specifically with cardiac surgery and devices such as IABP and Impella. The position requires EPIC electronic health record proficiency and BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications. The nurse will float between ICU and IMCU as needed, with weekly orientation sessions. The assignment begins on 10/19/2026 and concludes on 01/16/2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association; at least two years of experience in a similar setting; cardiac surgery experience including devices such as IABP and Impella; proficiency with EPIC EMR; must be separated from the organization for six or more months to be considered; orientation is weekly; any color of scrubs acceptable
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ICU and IMCU float responsibilities
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. Night shifts with every other weekend rotation and two winter holiday shifts. Must have recent experience in cardiac surgery units. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced ICU environment and with complex cardiac devices.
