Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse in Alaska This role involves providing patient-centered care to residents in a long-term care facility. The position requires previous travel experience, an active Alaska license, and certification in Basic Life Support. The successful candidate will be working a rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts, either days or nights.

Job Details

• Position: LTC RN
• Certifications: BLS (required), Alaska Food Worker Certification (obtained during orientation, $10 fee)
• Education & Experience: At least 1 year of nursing experience, with LTC experience preferred; must have a valid Alaska license or compact license in hand at submission; minimum of 1 year of travel experience required; experience with patients with dementia, Alzheimers, TBIP, Plegics, cognitive and physical impairments, and other LTC diagnoses.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week, starting on 10/27/2026, ending on 04/27/2027
• Responsibilities: Administer oxygen, care for peripheral lines, follow isolation precautions, perform wound care, conduct accuchecks, manage IV hydration, draw labs, handle peritoneal dialysis, and operate respiratory and vital sign equipment.
• Additional Qualifications: Competency in charting systems, experience with interdisciplinary support, ability to work in dementia and Alzheimer's care, and willingness to work holidays and occasional RTO (Request Time Off).
• Other Details: Candidates must meet specific travel and licensing requirements, including working at least 50 miles away from the facility, and provide relevant references covering the past 3 years.
