Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse position in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) offers an opportunity to provide specialized nursing care in a high-acuity, step-down setting. Based in a healthcare organization, this role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care utilizing the nursing process according to hospital standards and unit policies. The position supports patient monitoring, education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom; Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; 0 to 6 months of related experience; Epic experience; working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways; effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize work effectively; attention to detail in examining clinical and numerical data

• Additional Information: The position involves providing ongoing patient assessment and individualized care within a progressive care environment, utilizing clinical skills and documentation standards, supporting hospital and unit goals, and participating in educational activities and mandatory in-services. The contract is scheduled to start on 10/19/2026 and end on 01/16/2027.
