Job Summary:
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float Nurse positions are available in a rural critical access hospital located in the Northeast Kingdom region. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on the telemetry, medical-surgical, and pediatric units, primarily during night shifts. The position requires flexibility to float to other units such as Emergency Department and Mother & Child Health, and to perform charge nurse duties independently. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/26/2026 and conclude on 01/25/2027, with shifts lasting 12 hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, ability to work independently, and at least 0 years of clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry, med-surg, or pediatric units; charge nurse experience; floating experience to ED or Mother & Child Health units.
• Additional Information: The successful candidate must be able to float to other units as needed, including Emergency Department and Mother & Child Health. The organization emphasizes teamwork and community engagement, offering support throughout the transition. Attendance at departmental quarterly education sessions is required for agency professionals.
