Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a high-risk obstetric department located at a healthcare facility. This position involves caring for a culturally diverse patient population, including circulating on cesarean sections, assisting with high-risk deliveries, and supporting postpartum and neonatal care. The assignment is intended to meet staffing needs with potential floating within the scope of practice.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, beginning on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of experience, certifications including ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk obstetrics, C-section circulate, postpartum, and neonatal nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs, with travelers expected to float within their scope.
• Additional Information:
  • Must be willing to work three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
  • Prior experience at a facility with over 300 births per month is preferred.
  • The position involves working with neonates, infants, and adults in a busy obstetric environment, supporting high-risk obstetric cases, and assisting with various labor and delivery procedures.
