Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) in a high-risk OB department. This position involves supporting obstetric and postpartum patient care in a culturally diverse facility. The role includes circulating on cesarean sections, assisting with high-risk deliveries, and providing postpartum and newborn care, with an emphasis on safety and patient support. The start date is 10/19/2026, with potential extension through 04/19/2027, and requires a commitment to a 12-hour shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 04/19/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license preferred), at least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Intermediate certification, BLS (Basic Life Support), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk OB, circulating in cesarean sections, working with a diverse patient population, and knowledge of Epic (charting system).
• Additional Information: Must be willing to float within scope to support facility needs, including postpartum, labor, and delivery units. The role requires working 3 of 5 holidays, with all scheduling requests to be submitted upfront during application. Candidates must include responses to specific screening questions, including previous experience at similar facilities and references.
