Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in the area. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The position is responsible for ensuring high-quality nursing services and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, BLS certification, and have 0 years of experience. Experience in a clinical setting for which the candidate is applying is desired.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred. Professional certification may be advantageous.
• Provides comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs.
• Develops and revises individualized care plans, including discharge planning, in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Implements care according to physician orders and established policies, ensuring communication and continuity of care.
• Evaluates patient responses to treatment and education, adjusting the plan of care as necessary.
• Documents all aspects of care accurately, timely, and in accordance with policy, including assessment, intervention, and patient responses.
• Participates in research activities and contributes to clinical quality improvement initiatives.
• Interacts effectively with all levels of staff, patients, families, and external contacts, including community providers and clergy.
• Demonstrates adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements in a direct patient care environment.
