Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Nights Location: Not Specified. The healthcare provider is seeking a qualified registered nurse to join the Med/Surg Telemetry team. The role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced, general surgical environment with a focus on post-operative recovery, chronic conditions, and acute care for adult and geriatric patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The position offers a weekly guarantee of 36 hours from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), at least 2 years of experience, ACLS certification, BLS certification, and strong communication skills. Candidates must have experience with IVs, NG tubes, PICC & central line care, catheter care, post-operative surgical care including total knee & hip replacements, hernia repairs, and colectomies.
• Preferred Qualifications: Foleys, IV insertion, telemonitoring, tube feeding, stroke care, post-op care.
• Additional Information: This role supports a 36-bed Med/Surg unit serving adult and geriatric patients, with patient ratios of 5:1 or 6:1 during the day shift with high admissions and discharges. The environment is team-oriented and requires self-starting, good communication skills in a fast-paced setting.
