Job Summary
Critical Care Nurse (Intensive Care Unit) in the ICU department is based in the healthcare facility. This role involves providing direct, individualized nursing care to critically ill patients, implementing and evaluating patient care plans, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs and diagnostic test results to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from the American Heart Association; current professional license within the state of practice or nurse licensure compact; verification of suicide training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify for compact licenses; proof of right to work in the United States; critical care experience in a hospital setting; 0 years minimum experience.
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Position Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive bedside nursing care, coordinate with healthcare team members, and educate patients and families on post-treatment care. Responsibilities include medication administration, interpretation of diagnostic tests, lab work, equipment management, and responding to life-saving situations in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.
Additional Information: Housing options include Econolodge, Harborview Inn B&B, Heather Meadows, Ramada Inn, Aberdeen Hotel, and Monte Square Motel, with rates ranging from $50 per night to furnished long-term accommodations.
