Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in a healthcare facility located in the specified area. This position involves providing care to patients undergoing elective surgeries such as hips, knees, shoulders, as well as managing patients with fractures, neuro-surgeries, and general medical-surgical needs. The role requires experience with EPIC electronic health records and delivering patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

• Certifications and Requirements: BLS (AHA); License to Submit; Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; MS (Medical Surgical) specialty.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Must have experience with ortho patients and PCA pumps.
• Shift Notes: 12-hour shifts, weekends as scheduled, with holiday coverage based on staffing needs.
• Orientation: 1 day of EPIC orientation, 1 day with a preceptor, and 1 day of independent practice.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, including to other Medical-Surgical units, with skills appropriate to the assignment.
• Other Notes: RNs may be asked to work as charge nurses and assist with patient assignments as needed; EPIC experience required.
