Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) in the healthcare facility. This position involves floating to various units within the hospital to provide patient care for a diverse adult and geriatric population. The role includes charge responsibilities on small units, with a focus on adaptability and clinical proficiency.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license in the applicable state or a compact license, at least 1 year of professional experience, and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Experience in both Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, proficiency in interpretation of dysrhythmias, and familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required.
• Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care, monitoring cardiac telemetry, managing dysrhythmias, utilizing PPE and isolation precautions, and possibly assuming charge nurse duties on small units. The role requires coordination of staffing needs, bed flow, and unit operations during float shifts.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have US-based experience, and prior hospital experience is required. The position involves some charge responsibilities on small units, staffed with few RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, where the RN functions as the Charge Nurse. Candidates must be flexible to float between units and adhere to scheduled holidays and specific scheduling requests made during application. Travelers' refusal to float may impact employment. References covering the last three years, including at least one year of employment, are required.
