Job Details

• Position Description: Float RN for Medical Surgical with Telemetry, covering various units for a short-term assignment starting ASAP. The role includes potential charge responsibilities on small units staffed with limited personnel, involving managing staffing needs, bed flow, and coordination.
• Certifications: ACLS*, BLS, NIHSS*
• Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Management of dysrhythmias, Nasal Cannula, Telemetry
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of US work experience, experience with EPIC charting system, charge nurse experience preferred but not required, ability to work the specified schedule, and minimum of 2 years of nursing experience including charge experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week minimum.
• Additional Information: Must have minimum 1 year of US nursing experience. Candidates should be comfortable floating to different units and working with a variable patient ratio of 1:4-6 depending on acuity. Must include response to whether the candidate has worked at a Providence facility previously, including location and dates. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) are required prior to start.
