Description
Job Summary:
ICU Cardiovascular registered nurse (RN) needed in an adult critical care setting. The position involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients, including those undergoing cardiac surgery, in a state-of-the-art ICU facility. The role requires flexibility to float to step-down and medical/surgical units as needed in an acute care environment.
Job Details:
- Position: ICU Cardiovascular RN
- Location: Not specified, within a healthcare facility's ICU unit
- Certifications/Education: BLS, ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross), and New York licensed required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and 1 year of specialty experience, with cardiac surgery skills required (CABG surgeries, Valve surgeries, Swans, IABPs)
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 10/19/2026 and ending 12/14/2026
- Additional Information: No block scheduling will be approved. Float to step-down and/or medical/surgical units required if necessary. Every other weekend required, with holidays as needed. Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
