Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse Remote Location. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role requires utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to ensure high-quality patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Job Details

• Certifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or valid multi-state licensure; BLS certification required.
• Education and Experience: No minimum years of experience specified; experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months preferred.
• Location Requirements: Must float between designated campuses.
• Schedule: Day Shift, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, formulating and revising care plans, providing direct nursing care, delegating activities, documenting in the patient record, evaluating patient responses, and participating in quality improvement activities.
• Additional relevant details include the use of a universal bed model, care for PCU, general telemetry monitored, and medical patients, with an expectation to provide care aligned with organizational policies and standards.
