Job Summary
Operating Room TechnicianSurgical Technician/Operating Room Techlocated in the Midwest region. This position involves providing sterile and non-sterile assistance during surgical procedures, supporting the surgical team with patient safety and equipment management. The role requires adaptability to float across various local campuses within the discipline.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for supporting surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting medical staff during surgeries across multiple healthcare facilities.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS (AHA). Education: Not specified. Degree Requirements: Not specified. Location Requirements: Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, unless in Madison, where local candidates with a 10% rate reduction are accepted. Experience: At least 2 years of previous experience required, with at least 1 travel contract completed preferred. State license required.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have a drivers license, work history/resume, completed skills checklist within the past year, license verification, and a supervisory reference at the time of submission.
