Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in the healthcare environment. This position involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care within an ICU setting. The role requires utilizing the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationto deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential, along with contributing to solutions for variances from patient goals.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited nursing school. - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. - BLS certification from the American Heart Association. - ACLS certification from the American Heart Association. - Minimum of 2 years previous ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the ICU. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
