Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular Nurse in the ICU OH specialty, located in the area, is responsible for performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health teaching, health counseling, and restorative therapy directly to patients or through delegation and supervision of others.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing, two (2) years of nursing experience, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, ACLS certification, NIH certification, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care.
  • Additional Information: The nurse may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency based on business needs and may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts. The role includes executing delegated medical functions, reviewing therapy and treatment plans, documenting according to guidelines, and promoting the organization's mission, vision, and values.
