Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Night Shift Johnstown, PA
This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a Neuro Medical Surgical unit at a facility recognized for clinical excellence and advanced technology. The role supports adult patient care with a focus on conditions such as CVA, TIA, seizure management, and respiratory issues.

Job Details

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical (MS)
Location: Johnstown, PA
Shift: Nights
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Nursing license; NIH certification preferred; Swallow Screen; 2+ years neuro or med-surg experience; competence in dysrhythmia assessment; availability for holidays
Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience; NIH and Swallow Screen certifications
Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care, monitoring vital signs with equipment such as Mindray vital sign machines and GE EKG, and managing adult patients with diagnoses such as CVA, TIA, seizure, and respiratory issues
Additional information: Candidates must pass a dysrhythmia and math dosage test on day one of orientation; all necessary facility education will be provided during orientation
