Job Details

• Position Description: The nurse will deliver patient-centered care in a pediatric and oncology unit, supporting clinical procedures and collaborating with healthcare team members.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: PALS, BLS; Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Location: Asheville, NC; Experience: 0 years.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit has 19 beds with a staffing team of 22, including RNs, RTs, and PCTs. Patient ratios are 1:3, 1:4, and 1:5. Experience in pediatric and oncology nursing is preferred. Candidates must have pediatric experience, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). The role includes working on weekends, with six shifts, including two Saturdays, and may involve float rotations.
