Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse ER Location: Not Specified. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in an emergency care setting. The role includes assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing care, providing health education, and executing medical functions to support patient well-being.

Job Details

Responsibilities: Performs nursing functions, delegated medical tasks, and clinical assessments in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. Provides health teaching, counseling, and supports therapy and treatment plans. Documents all activities in line with hospital and regulatory guidelines. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
Required Qualifications: ASN Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. BLS American Heart Association certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing preferred. Certification as appropriate for unit or service preferred.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room setting is preferred.
