Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as providing health education and counseling to support patient well-being.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 3-12 hour nights from 1900 to 0730, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing, current RN license in the state of practice, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS certification, and at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Certifications & Licensure: Current licensed RN, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Skills: Delegated medical functions, nursing care, health status assessment, health teaching, therapy and treatment plans, patient referral, documentation, and nursing functions.
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency; may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
• Responsibilities include executing medical functions, referring patients for further evaluation or treatment, monitoring therapy plans, and documenting care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines.
