Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position available in the healthcare provider organization. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for critically ill patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year is preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs; formulating a plan of care including discharge planning; implementing the care through direct patient care, delegation, and supervision; evaluating patient responses and updating the plan accordingly; documenting all assessments and interventions accurately; participating in professional development activities and quality improvement initiatives; and communicating effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Additional Information: In some roles, supervision of staff and workflow management may be required. The position involves direct patient care in a high-acuity setting, requiring physical agility, effective communication skills, and adherence to safety protocols.
