Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) The healthcare provider is seeking a registered nurse for an ICU position in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and professional standards.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, Degree, Location, and Years of Experience: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse license in the state of practice or a valid compact license, with a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months. BLS certification required.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Possible call and float to support units; does not allow for religious exemptions for COVID vaccine at the organization.
- Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, formulating and implementing care plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and documenting patient care accurately. The role may involve supervising staff and promoting high-quality patient outcomes.
