Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: unspecified. This position involves providing critical emergency care in a fast-paced environment, managing a wide range of patient needs from urgent care to trauma. The role requires bedside trauma nursing, working in the trauma room, and supporting patients with complex medical conditions.

Job Details

• Position Description: Must live 50 miles away. This contract is for an 8-week period with a schedule of three 12-hour evening shifts per week.
• Schedule: Evenings, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state or district. Emergency Room experience: 3 years. Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN are highly desired. Cerner experience required. Current emergency nursing certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC. Willingness to work in the trauma room and handle ratios of 1:5.
• Additional Information: Candidates must provide expedited compliance documentation including national background screening, vaccine or declination forms, current license verification, and certifications within 7 days of assignment start. The role involves managing critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, blood transfusions, and chest tubes.
