Job Summary
The Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse is based in the healthcare facility's emergency department. This role involves providing safe, therapeutic, and individualized care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent health issues, ensuring holistic and patient-centered outcomes.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, CPI or comparable certification (must be an 8-hour class with at least half of the class in person), at least three years of recent RN experience working in an RN role, at least two years of recent RN experience in a specialty area, BSN or ADN degree.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Position description: Provides care to patients and families, performing nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, and efficient care. Promotes quality outcomes and collaborates with the healthcare team for complex cases, serving as patient and family advocate to ensure excellent and satisfying care.
• Additional Information: The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans using nursing interventions, evaluate patient progress, and communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team. The role may include float to other facilities as needed.
