Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) in an acute care setting. This role involves working in a high-acuity, fast-paced cardiovascular intensive care unit with a focus on advanced cardiac support procedures, excluding transplants. The position requires a dedicated professional to provide specialized care for critically ill patients.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Valid certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); NIHSS certification; at least 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting.
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Providing care for patients requiring ECMO, Impella, Balloon pump, and VAD assistance; managing high-acuity cardiovascular cases; utilizing Cerner electronic charting system.
• Additional Information: The unit operates in a busy, fast-paced environment with diverse and complex cases, excluding transplant procedures. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to four shifts within a 13-week assignment or three shifts for shorter durations.
