Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Mlwaukie, Oregon. This position requires a highly skilled OR RN to provide circulating services across various surgical specialties, including orthopedic, gynecology, plastics, and general surgeries. The role involves floating between units as needed, on-call duties, and working in a fast-paced, acute care environment.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, CNOR
- Education Requirements: Nursing degree (RN license required), valid license in state or compact license in hand at submission
- Location Requirements: Must have a vehicle for this assignment!
- Years of Experience: 0 years minimum required, with at least 1 year preferred
- Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Responsibilities include circulating during elective, urgent, and emergent surgeries, handling a variety of specialties such as Orthopedics, GYN, Plastics, Urology, ENT, and Podiatry, utilizing electronic charting systems (Epic preferred), and maintaining patient safety and procedural efficiency.
- Must be comfortable working in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment and flexible to float to nearby units and facilities based on staffing needs.
- Candidates must be able to respond to on-call shifts, including one night per week and one weekend per month.
- Submission requirements include two references covering one year within the last three years, and responses to prior employment at a Providence facility if applicable.
