Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) located in the healthcare organization. This position involves providing specialized patient care for medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring, requiring strong communication and time management skills. The role includes working 12-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a commitment of at least 48 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 11/30/2026.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of experience. Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited program and be licensed in the state of practice.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit has 12 beds with patient ratios of 5-6/1, and accommodates patients requiring Cpap, Bipap, and high-flow oxygen therapy. Equipment such as Cpap, Bipap, and high-flow devices is used regularly. Candidates should be willing to float to all medical/surgical units as needed. The orientation process includes 2 shadowing or orientation shifts prior to working independently.
• Responsibilities: Read strips monitoring patients on telemetry, collaborate with Charge Nurse and Nurse Educators, and provide care to patients with orthopedic diagnoses.
• Certifications: Both ACLS and BLS certifications are required for consideration.
• Submission: Candidates must be able to submit licensure documentation.
