Job Details

• Position Description: Provides nursing care in a pediatric and oncology unit, supporting a total of 19 beds with a team of 22 staff members, including nurses, RTs, and PCTs. The role involves working a night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Pediatric experience in hospital; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Basic Life Support (BLS); experience requirement: 0 years; location requirement: Asheville, NC; shift schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week; Certification and education requirements as listed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology nursing experience and familiarity with PICU or NICU areas are preferred.
• Responsibilities: Administers medications, monitors patient conditions, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Adheres to unit policies, maintains accurate documentation, and follows safety standards.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours weekly.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must have current certifications (PALS, BLS) and pediatric or oncology experience as specified.
