Medical Surgical Nurse, Richmond, VA This position involves providing high-quality patient care on a 33-bed medical surgical and trauma unit within a Level I trauma hospital. The role requires engaging with a diverse patient population, utilizing advanced EKG, vital monitoring, and wound management equipment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Medical Surgical Nurse responsible for delivering patient-centered care in a hospital unit that includes telemetry, trauma, and medical surgical services.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, diploma, or associate degree in Nursing, successful pass of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and at least 1 year of experience in a medical surgical or telemetry setting.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing procedures such as small I & D's, peritoneal dialysis, and thoracentesis. Candidates with experience in Medical Surgical units and strong patient focus are preferred. High energy and a positive attitude are qualities aligned with the units culture.
