Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Johnstown, PA. This role involves providing specialized care for cardiac geriatric patients in a tertiary care hospital known for clinical excellence and advanced medical services. The position supports a dynamic patient care environment with rotating shifts, requiring flexibility and clinical skill.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN in the Tele/PCU Department, focusing on cardiac care, with responsibilities including patient monitoring and post-operative cardiac care.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, 2+ years of experience preferred, with minimum 1 year required.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts; 10-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must have all Pennsylvania clearances, including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI fingerprinting within the last two years, and PA State Police Clearance, completed prior to start date. Full screenings required before onboarding. Candidates must be willing to work all shift times including days, nights, and mids, with no float restrictions.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac conditions such as CP, MI, Post-op cardiac cath, TAVR, and post-op pacer management.
