Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in the healthcare provider setting. The role involves providing acute care to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, stroke, trauma, and various urgent medical conditions. The position emphasizes fast-paced, high-volume patient management with a focus on emergency response and stabilization.

• Required Qualifications: Active ACLS, BLS certification, NIHSS, PALS; minimum of 2 years ER experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Must have at least 2 years of ER experience; hospital does not have labor and delivery, pediatrics, or neonatal intensive care units. Nurse must complete a 15-minute proctored exam to assess basic EKG competency during orientation. Floating to other units may be required. The ER handles an average of 75 patients daily, with peaks up to 140. The unit utilizes Cerner electronic medical records, and the team includes MDs and mid-level providers. Shift rotations include weekends and holidays as part of standard rotation.
