Job Summary
The facility is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Nurse for a travel assignment in the healthcare industry. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care for surgical patients, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative support. The position emphasizes assessment, documentation, patient safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Days, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred; current RN license required; BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred; minimum of 1-year clinical experience in operating room nursing preferred
• Responsibilities: Delivering patient care during all phases of surgery; performing assessments and pre-operative evaluations; assisting with surgical procedures including robotic, neuro, ortho, and general surgeries; maintaining accurate documentation; following all safety protocols and guidelines including Universal Protocol and National Patient Safety Goals; supporting patient education and ensuring understanding of procedures and instructions; collaborating with the perioperative team to provide individualized patient care
• Schedule: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with flexibility to scrub and circulate on various surgical specialties including neuro spine, total joint, or robotic procedures
