Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position located in Michigan. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care within the ICU setting, working collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure patient-centered care and adherence to professional standards.

Job Details

• This position follows the American Health Care Associations (AHSA) clinical interview process, with outreach within two hours via phone and text, and decisions typically made the same day or by the next business day.
• The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Carries out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.
• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
• Completion of 3 or more years of nursing experience and at least one previous travel assignment is required.
• Experience primarily in ICU, with the ability to float to CVICU preferred.
• Certifications required include BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS (American Heart Association).
• Michigan license verification is required, including LARA and Nursys submissions.
• Physical copies of certifications are required if listed.
• The shift is Days, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Start date is October 12, 2026, and end date is January 11, 2027.
• A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required.
• No references are required for application.
• The organization has a strict attendance policy, with immediate termination for three instances of absence or being more than 20 minutes late, beginning February 28, 2024.
