The Mother/Baby Couplet Care Nurse is an RN position based in the healthcare facility. This role involves practicing as a full partner on the health care team, providing safe and competent nursing care to patients from infancy to adult. • Required Qualifications: 3+ years of recent postpartum experience, proficiency in clinical equipment and technology, current California RN License, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).
• Preferred Qualifications: L&D or high-risk antepartum experience.
• Additional Information: The role involves engaging in patient and family-centered care, evidence-based practice, safety initiatives, and participating in clinical problem solving. The nurse may guide unlicensed assistive personnel and participate in quality improvement activities.
