Job Summary
A Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse is needed at a healthcare facility for a temporary assignment. This role involves providing specialized care to obstetric patients, supporting high-risk deliveries, and ensuring safety during labor and postpartum processes. The position requires a commitment to a night shift schedule across a 12-hour shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Certifications and Qualifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRPS certifications; minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience; valid license (compact license preferred); at least 1 year of recent clinical experience in a similar setting.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Providing labor and delivery care, assisting with high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, postpartum management, monitoring fetal and maternal health, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes 40 hours of training prior to start. Travel experience is not required. Candidates should be prepared to float between like units if necessary. Submission includes responses to specific client questions regarding prior employment at a Providence facility and references covering the past three years.
• Other Requirements: Candidates must include responses to employer questions, submit 2 references covering at least 1 year, and meet all licensure and experience criteria.
