Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: not specified. This position involves providing urgent and emergent care in a busy ER setting with an average of 150 patients per day, including adults and pediatric patients. The role requires readiness to handle a high-acuity environment with a variety of clinical presentations, including patients with higher care needs transported out to other medical centers.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC; minimum of 2 years of experience required.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts with varying start times during days (7a, 8a, 9a), mids (10a, 11a, 1p, 3p), and nights (4p, 5p, 7p); minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include managing a fast-paced ER environment, working with a team that includes hospitalists or intensivists on-site 24/7, and handling a diverse patient population with complex needs.
- Certifications required for this position include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.
- No float rotation is specified.
