Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a community hospital setting. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population in a Level II trauma facility. The RN will deliver clinical expertise, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, and ensure patient safety and comfort during shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Room RN at a community hospital with a 350+ bed capacity, non-teaching, Level II trauma designation, and approximately 45,000 patient encounters annually.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Active California licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, and a minimum of 2+ years of relevant emergency room experience.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have strong Epic experience and be fully comfortable with the requested shift requirements. No active per diem positions should be concurrently worked. The patient population includes predominantly trauma and pediatric cases; some trauma experience and pediatric experience are strongly preferred. The RN may be required to float within the scope of their skills as needed depending on patient care demands. Typically, every other weekend rotation is expected. Only qualified candidates will be interviewed, and offers will be extended by the manager.
