Job Details

• Position: Operating Room (OR) Specialist in a healthcare facility setting.
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, with a schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM and call responsibilities.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), a minimum of 2 years of operating room experience in an acute care hospital setting, and a valid license to submit.
• Responsibilities include assisting in outpatient surgery procedures, patient care during pre- and post-operative phases, and operating within a team to deliver quality surgical services.
• Clinical responsibilities involve working across various specialties such as General, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Orthopedics, Spine, and Robotics, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) and medication systems such as EPIC and Pyxis.
• Department: Outpatient surgery with 7 operating rooms, 1 cardiovascular operating room (CVOR), 1 hybrid catheterization suite, and a 10-bed intensive care unit (ICU).
• Orientation: Typically, one week of department-specific training is provided.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit a license to work with the organization.
