Job Details

• Position Description: ICU Nurse for a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing specialized care in a 32-bed Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NeuroICU).
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory; NIHSS is preferred but not required.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing procedures such as chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), therapeutic hypothermia, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), arterial line, and central line placement. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of ICU experience, with skills in trauma patient management, ventilator and cardiac rhythm management, and IV administration of vasoactive medications.
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Uniform: Navy scrub top, navy or black scrub bottoms, solid color jackets, undershirts in navy, white, or black.
• Start Date: November 2, 2026.
• End Date: February 1, 2027.
• Positions Available: 2.
• Experience Requirement: 0 years minimum.
