Job Summary
Emergency Room RN in the ER specialty, located in the healthcare facility's emergency department. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy 65-bed emergency department with separate pediatric and mental health pods. The RN will deliver assessment, documentation, IV placement, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: AHA Certified Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required. Emergency Nursing experience of at least 2 years is preferred.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week. Rotating shifts may be requested, including day rotate (7 am7 pm, 11 am11 pm, & 7 pm7 am) with low rotation frequency.
• Additional Information: The RN will work across multiple units including the Emergency Department Observation wing and Adult Medical Unit (ED PsychOBs). Candidates must have a current license and submit validated professional and reference checklists, skills checklist, and candidate submission coversheet.
