Job Summary
ORT (Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician) in an acute care setting. This position involves supporting surgical teams with a variety of procedures, including total joints, general, vascular, and spine cases. The role requires strong experience in these areas to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, COVID Vaccine required, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, located within the specified geographic area, with at least 1 year of specific OR experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with shifts starting at 6:30 am or 10:00 am, totaling at least 36 hours per week. The assignment duration is from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027.
• Responsibilities: Support surgical teams during procedures, assist with patient positioning, instrument handling, and maintaining sterile environments. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow in the operating room.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have substantial experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine surgeries. Shift coverage includes call duties on weeknights and approximately once per month on weekends. Candidates will receive orientation and must be prepared for a variety of surgical cases, excluding transplant surgeries.
