Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Interventional Radiology for a position in Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized patient care within the IR department, supporting various procedures, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires adherence to clinical standards and maintaining certification requirements.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RN License
- Education Requirements: Valid Wisconsin RN license in hand at the time of submission
- Schedule: Day shift, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating holiday shifts and shared call responsibilities approximately once a month, based on department needs
- Location Requirements: Wisconsin license required; must be able to float on-site within the skill set and to sites within 40 miles as needed
- Experience: 0 or more years of relevant experience in interventional radiology or related fields
- Responsibilities include supporting IR procedures, managing patient care before, during, and after interventions, and utilizing Epic electronic medical records system
- Additional Information: Experience in IR, EPIC, and travel assignments preferred; call rotation is shared with other RNs and may include on-call duties in addition to scheduled shifts
- Submission Requirements: Valid license, Ascension profile, and two professional references, along with completion of Ascension Skills Checklist
