The role requires adaptability to floating between ICU and Medical Surgical departments, with call duty expected.

Position Description:
The ICU RN will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing a diverse patient caseload in a 16-bed unit. Responsibilities include patient monitoring, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes. Float to stepdown and Medical Surgical departments as needed. -
Required Qualifications:
Active BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications, along with 2+ years of experience in intensive care or stepdown units. Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse. -
Schedule:
Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/26/2026 and concludes on 01/25/2027. -
Additional Information:
The role involves floating to stepdown and Medical Surgical departments, with occasional call duties. The facility uses Cerner electronic medical records and maintains a patient census of 16 beds. Holiday work, including at least one winter holiday, is required. Blocked scheduling and requested time off (RTO) within one week is permissible.
