Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse, Emergency Room, Remote Location. This position involves providing high-acuity emergency care in a busy, high-volume emergency department with approximately 230 visits per day. The role requires expertise in managing a diverse patient population, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients, with a focus on stroke and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) care.

Job Details

• Position Description: ER RN responsible for delivering acute emergency care in a high-traffic emergency department with a focus on stroke and STEMI care, including bedside procedures and wound management.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid state license (compact license accepted), ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; at least 1.5 years of experience specifically in the specialty required.
• Schedule: Shift times are days, with 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience and additional certifications such as TNCC and CEN or CPN are highly preferred.
• Responsibilities: Managing patient care across all ages, performing bedside procedures, managing multisystem organ failure, interpreting dysrhythmias, and taking part in mandatory trainings and modules.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work weekends, including at least six weekends within a six-week schedule cycle, and commit to working three of the five designated holidays. Float between similar units may be required. Qualifications will need to be verified with two references covering one year within the last three years.
